THE LIBERATOR, Boston, Aug. 5, 1864 This is the famous anti-slavery newspaper by famed abolitionist publisher William Lloyd Garrison. The masthead features two engravings, one of a slave auction and the other showing slaves being emancipated.

"How The Rebels View It" "President Lincoln's Terms" "Mr. Lincoln's Administration" "The Colored Mass Meeting" "Another Rebel Raid Into Pennsylvania--Burning of Chambersburg" and other Civil War reports.
Four pages, never bound nor trimmed, nice condition.
