SACRAMENTO DAILY UNION, California, July 24, 1860  The top of the front page has much reporting headed: "Further By The Pony Express" "Details of Eastern News". Also on the ftpg. is: "Atlantic Items Per Pony Express".
The Pony Express was a short-lived and much romanticized mail service that operated from April 3, 1860, to October 26, 1861, between Missouri and California. The telegraphic would help put it out of business.
Four pages, very nice condition.
