November 21, 1963

THE DALLAS TIMES HERALD, Texas, Nov. 21, 1963

* John F. Kennedy visits Texas
* From the city of the assassination
* Diagram of the motorcade route

There was logical reason to save the next day's edition as it reported the assassination of John F. Kennedy, but there was no logical reason for this issue to be saved, even though it has significant front page content.
The headline reads: "Plea For Space Plan Kicks Off JFK Tour" with related subheads, and a front page photo showing Richard Nixon captioned: "Nixon Today...JFK Tomorrow".
The front page also includes a map captioned: "JFK motorcade route in Dallas." which shows the Trade Mart, JFK's destination, as well as the intersection of Main St. and Elm which is Dealey Plaza, where he was assassinated.
What would be the headline in the next day's newspaper would have been unbelievable to those reading this issue.
Present are pages 1 thru 30 which appears to be the complete issue, according to the table of contents. Minimal margin wear, and some yellowing at the central fold. Generally good condition.
A very rare opportunity for a seldom saved--yet historically significant--newspaper.
