Basically a sports-themed newspaper. The front page has a nice print of: "W. F. Melbourne, First Lieutenant, 15th Infantry, U.S.A." Inside has over a full column taken up with reports from the war under the heading: "Spirit of the Week".
Another page has half a column headed: "Out Door Sports - Base Ball" with a subhead: "Star vs. Star--First Game of the Season" which is a very detailed account and includes the box score.
Sixteen pages, decorative masthead, nice condition.
