The top of page 7 of this section has a banner heading: "Laker in Waiting Might Be an NBA Star in the Making" with small photo of Bryant. Lengthy text here. Bryant was drafted out of High School to the Hornets just two days earlier. Great to have from the city where he would play his entire NBA basketball career. Rare as such.
