Inside has a letter from Paris mentioning: "...The day following they went to Dr. Franklin's hotel at Passy. From the frequent conferences they have since held with the American plenipotentiary...it is imagined that they are charged with a commission to settle the preliminaries for a general pacification."
Eight pages, never bound nor trimmed, 9 by 12 inches, a repair to the back leaf, nice condition.
