EVENING TRIBUNE, San Diego, California, April 22, 1912  Continuing coverage on the sinking of the Titanic with a front page headline: "ISSUED REASSURING STATEMENTS WHEN THERE WAS NO INFORMATION REGARDING THE TITANIC" and subhead: "Hearing On Disaster Resumed Today" "Tried To Suppress Early News Of Wreck" "Gave Out False Statements to Keep Up Courage o Inquirers; Ismay Asked That Liner Cedric be Held" "Anxiously Awaiting News Regarding Bodies on Cable Ship Mackay Bennett".
A feature of the front page is a photo captioned: "How Titanic Was Destroyed. Accident showing by combining photograph of boat with one of an actual iceberg."
More Titanic reporting on page 2.
Complete in 18 pages, library stamp in the masthead, very minor repair at the bottom of ftpg., very nice condition.
