THOMAS'S MASSACHUSETTS SPY OR THE WORCESTER GAZETTE, Jan. 28, 1795 Fully half of the front page is taken up with a great & detailed report o he Secretary of War to the President, being his: "...Observations Respecting the Preservation of the Peace with the Indian Tribes with Whom the United States have Formed Treaties", signed in type: H. Knox.
Page 3 has a report concerning an exchange of prisoners between General Wayne & the Indians. Also a document signed by: Samuel Adams, concerning Washington's recent Proclamation for a day of thanksgiving.
Four pages, never-trimmed margins, handsome masthead, very nice condition.
