The front page has a two column heading: "Nazis Destroy Czech Village; Shoot All Men, Jail Women" Small related map on page 5. (see) First report coverage on the annihilation of the town of Lidice Czechoslovakia by the Nazis. This was in reprisal for the shooting of Nazi leader, Reinhard Heydrich.
Also on the front page is a one column heading: "Half Jap Fleet Lost in Battle, Nimitz Hints" which gives some follow up reporting on the Battle of Midway.
Complete with all 36 pages, light toning at the margins, a few small library stamps near masthead, some small binding holes along the spine, generally in very nice condition.
