NILES' WEEKLY REGISTER, Baltimore, March 26, 1825

* The Santa Fe Trail creation
* Missouri - New Mexico

See the photo for a partial list of Acts of Congress recently passed, which includes: "An act to authorize the president of the United States to cause a road to be marked out from the western frontier of Missouri to the confines of New Mexico" which would be the famed Santa Fe Trail. A very historic--yet brief--report.
Another article: "Suppression of the Slave Trade" takes almost three pages.  in it Great Britain and the United States denounce the slave trade as piracy and discuss the possible solutions. This issue also has an Indian Treaty with the Creek Nation.
Sixteen pages, 6 by 9 3/4 inches, great condition..
