THOMAS'S MASSACHUSETTS SPY OR WORCESTER GAZETTE, Nov. 7, 1798 Over a full column on the ftpg. is "A Proclamation" by the governor of Massachusetts for a day of public thanksgiving. Page 3 has a letter "To George Washington, Lieut. General and Commander in chief of the American forces".
