February 21, 1829
FLORIDA ADVOCATE, Tallahassee, Feb. 21, 1829 I believe this is the earliest Florida newspaper we have offered, and the first we have offered this title. This is a volume 2 issue.
The content is typical of the day, plus there is a wealth of advertising, many of the ads being illustrated. The significance of this issue is in the very early date.
Four pages, untrimmed margins, archivally rejoined at the spine, various non-archival tape mends inside done not to repair tears but to flatten creases. Otherwise very nice condition.
Category: Pre-Civil War
