* George Washington's death & funeral

The front page has two-thirds of a column headed: "Funeral Solemnities In Honor of the Sainted Washington" The first report under this heading reports on the solemnities at Medford, followed by the honors at Marblehead, then at Hallowell. The reports carry over to page two where is also found: " Memoranda of Funeral Honors" and a report from "Boston" which notes: "...the Government of Massachusetts will attend the Oration on the sublime virtues of General GEORGE WASHINGTON to e delivered at the Old South Meeting House..." and also: "Mr. Paine's Eulogy".

Among the page 3 ads and notices is a black-bordered item: "Masonic Procession--Anticipate" for George Washington. Also two other notices relating to Washington's funeral.

Four pages, some water staining to the bottom right quadrant, some ink stains, otherwise good.
