THE WORLD, New York, Oct. 20, 1889  Page 16 has a very nice graphic concerning the 1889 Baseball World Series with prints of key players & managers "Buck Ewing, Darby O'Brien, James Mutrie, and W. M'Gunnigle. Much text as well concerning the World Series and comparisons between the two teams, headed: "Brooklyn Or New York: Which Will Win?"
The ftpg. also has text on the Series with column heads: "Alas For The Brooklyns!" "Now It Is New York's Turn to Shout & Dance with Joy" "16,000 People Saw the Game at Washington Park" "Honors Easy in the Series for the World's Championship" and more including 3 graphics.
Complete in 36 pages, piece from right margin of front leaf does not affect text, archival mend on ftpg., mostly loose at the spine. Good condition but somewhat fragile & must be handled carefully.
