THE DETROIT NEWS--EXTRA, Aug. 14, 1945 The front page is dominated by the huge, nearly 5 inch tall headline: "JAPS QUIT" above which is the head-in: "U.S. Fleet Radios:" and "also a banner head: "Await Hirohito's Word". The ftpg. also features a large photo showing the carnage at Pearl Harbor nearly 4 years earlier.
Complete in 8 pages, some perforation wear at the central fold, otherwise rather good condition. A great issue for display.
