THE GAZETTEER & NEW DAILY ADVERTISER, London, Dec. 8, 1775  A few items concerning the Revolutionary War include: "The troops going to Virginia (which are to sail as soon as possible) are to be commanded by General Clinton from Boston...Lord Cornwallis, who goes out Commander of the troops, is to resign the command when at Williamsburgh (if they ever arrive there) to General Clinton...A bill which inflicts the same punishment alike on the innocent subjects of the islands as was in mockery of human woe held forth to the interested yet infatuated landed interest of Britain, is a measures that would reduce America into subjugation..." and a bit more. Plus a letter from Thomas Hutchinson (see).
