A page 3 (of the sports section) banner headline announces: "Rockne's 'Four Horsemen' Find Northwestern Heavy Load" with subheads, reporting of the regular season win against the Northwestern Wildcats. This was perhaps the most famous year for Notre Dame football as the team consisted of the famous "four horsemen" and ended the season undefeated with the college football national title.
Rare use of the words 'Four Horsemen' in the headline, particularly so soon after this nickname was introduced.
The complete issue, light toning and a little wear at the margins, generally good.
