The back page has a large number of illustrated advertisements, but perhaps the most intriguing is one which shows a serpent instrument as part of an ad promoting the wares of "Henry Prentiss", the text of which lists the many other musical instruments he offers for sale (see).
Other illustrated ads are for "White Teeth", several stagecoach and steamship ads, plus others.
