May 30, 1862

NEW YORK HERALD, May 30, 1862  Certainly a feature of this issue would be the three maps found inside including one on page 3 headed:  "THE BRILLIANT AFFAIR AT HANOVER COURT HOUSE." and another on page 4: "THE BATTLE OF HANOVER COURT-HOUSE." with the third map on page 10: "THE NEWS FROM CHARLESTON".
A wealth of column heads throughout  include: "The Battle At Hanover Court-House" "The Rebels from Fifteen to Twenty Thousand Strong" "Capture Of Mrs. General Lee" "Important From Corinth" "The Rebels Driven from Their Position with Considerable Loss" "The Battle Of Shiloh" "Gen. Beauregard's Official Report of the Great 'Western Battle" "Important From Charleston" "The City Under Martial Law" and much more.
Twelve pages, a printing error on pg. 3 does not affect the map, very nice condition.
