Nice coverage of Franklin Roosevelt's first (of 4) inauguration with headline: "ROOSEVELT INAUGURATED, ACTS TO END THE NATIONAL BANKING CRISIS QUICKLY; WILL ASK WAR-TIME POWERS IF NEEDED" with a photo of him taking the oath of office. This was during the midst of the Great Depression, and beginning of the ftpg.& carrying over to page 2 is the complete: "Text of the Inaugural Address..." which contains--on the front page--one of the more famous utterances in American history: "...the only thing we have to fear is fear itself..." (see).
