THE NEW YORK TIMES, March 30, 1965  Page 29 carries a report "Wallace To Meet Delegates Today" "He Will Hear Grievances Offered By Negro Leaders".  "The office of Gov. George C. Wallace announce in Mongtomery tonight that the Governor would meet tomorrow with negro leaders who wish to present grievances against the state Government... Meanwhile, this tired little city enjoyed today a brief respite from civil rights activities. The Negro leaders promised they would start again tomorrow... In Birmingham, the fourth Ku Klux Klansman arrested in Mrs. Liuzzo's death... was released under $50,500 bond. Three other defendants had been released under bonds of $50,000 each on Friday night...". Mrs. Liuzzo was a white woman shot and killed by four Klansman while transporting activists from Montgomery back to Selma.
