LOS ANGELES EXAMINER, Aug. 15, 1951 The bold, banner headline announces: "W.R. HEARST DEATH MOURNED BY NATION" with subheads including; "Publisher-Patriot's Career Closed at 88" with a photo of him headed: "A Great American". Much more on the following pages. Loads of text. This was a Hearst newspaper so nice to have this report in one of his publications.
