The top of page 2 has a head: "The Indian War" with the article beginning: "Far and wide through the length & breadth of the land is flashed the news that 315 brave and disciplined soldiers headed by the renowned Custer met their death at the hands of a horde of savage Siouxs in the ravines of the Little Horn..." with more, taking half a column (see). This is, of course, the famous Custer Massacre battle.
Four pages, nice condition. Nice to have this report in a Western newspaper.
