FIGARO IN LONDON, London, April 13, 1833 An English comic newspaper of the early 19th century, founded in 1831 and running for almost 8 years. It was the forerunner for the much more popular "Punch" magazine. There is a nice comic illustration in the masthead and another on the front page captioned: "The Factory Ferocities" with a related article.
Four pages, 8 3/4 by 11 inches, nice condition.
