THE EXAMINER, Louisville, Kentucky, July 24, 1847 A quite scarce newspaper which lasted but 2 1/2 years, from June, 1847 thru December 9, 1849. This is the #6 issue. Among the articles within are: "Influence of Slavery in Regarding the Progress of the Gospel" "Emancipation" "A Bishop Nearly Roasted" "Western New" "Latest from Santa Fe" "California" and more.
Four pages, small binding holes at the blank spine margin, very small rubbing hole at a front leaf fold juncture, generally nice.
