Perhaps the best item in this issue is the nice & lengthy letter under the heading: "University of Virginia", signed by him in type: Th. Jefferson, as Rector of the University of Virginia. It was this letter that sets out the founding of this institution by Jefferson & others. A significant letter on the creation of the University of Virginia. This letter takes nearly a full page.
Among the other reports in this issue are: "Annual Treasury Report" "Kentucky" "Affairs at Pensacola" and "Commerce with Sweden".
Sixteen pages, 6 1/4 by 9 1/2 inches, nice condition.
As noted in Wikipedia, this title: "...(was) one of the most widely-circulated magazines in the United States...Devoted primarily to politics...considered an important source for the history of the period."
