FEDERAL ORRERY, Boston, Jan. 22, 1795 The top of the front page has a proclamation "By The Governor" for a day of thanksgiving and prayer, signed in type: Samuel Adams. Page 2 has a document headed: "By Authority, George Washington, President of the United States of America, to all whom it may concern..." concerning an ambassador to the city of Hamburg (see). Much other news of the day.
