A curious issue as likely rushed to the presses so quickly to get this "EXTRA" on the streets that there is no date on the front page, although someone penned "August 14, 1945 (see). Huge & bold letters note: "WAR OVER" with smaller banner head: "Japanese Accept Allied Peace Terms" "and subhead: "Hirohito Must Bow To Allied Authority".
Presumed complete as a four page issue with various small tears at the blank margins, minor fold wear. A very displayable newspaper.;
