FEDERAL ORRERY, Boston, Nov. 3, 1794 Page 2 includes: "By the Governor--A Proclamation, for a day of Thanksgiving" which is signed in type by: Samuel Adams. Also inside: "Defeat of the Indians" noting: "...mounted volunteers of Kentucky have returned from an expedition against the Cherokees & Chickamungas in which they have destroyed three Indian towns, 2000 acres of corn, taken 70 scalps and 14 prisoners." Also an item headed: "The Death of Robespierre" and other items.
