THE ILLUSTRATED LONDON NEWS, London, England, August 28, 1858  The front cover features a nearly halfpage illustration "The Wellington Tomb in the Crypt of St. Paul's Cathedral". A nearly half-page illustration "Inauguration of a Russian Gun at Seaham Harbour, near Sunderland". "The Attack on the Peiho Forts by the English and French Fleets" contain two halfpage illustrations. An article "Lumbering in New Brunswick" features a full page and two halfpage illustrations. A halfpage "Ottawa, the Proposed Capital of Canada".  A doublepage features an illustrated song "English Songs and Melodies - The Day Has Gone". "Statue of the Late Mr. Joseph Brotherton, Erected in Peel Park, Manchester." Within the issue are additional articles, illustrations and advertisements.

This is complete in 24 pages measuring approximately 16 x 11.25 inches and is in good condition.
