wikipedia notes: The 1957 season was the year that the Milwaukee Braves won their first World Series championship in Milwaukee. Led by NL MVP Hank Aaron and NL Cy Young Award Winner Warren Spahn, the Braves won 95 games to clinch the pennant by eight games over the St. Louis Cardinals. Longtime Brooklyn Dodger Andy Pafko and World Series hero Bobby Thomson were also part of the team.
