THE LEVER, Chicago, Dec. 24, 1884 The motto printed in the masthead pretty much describes this rare newspaper's theme: "No License for the Liquor Traffic in Any Form or For Any Price." As would be imagined much prohibition-themed news reports.
Eight pages, rejoined at the spine, tape mend to the ftpg. causes no loss, minor loss to blank margin of the 2nd leaf.
