This 8 page newspaper is in good condition (except for little margin wear) due to the use of cotton and rag paper during this very historic time in U.S. history. This issue is loaded with advertisements and Civil War reports throughout from the day it was first reported which includes the following page 3 Map: "Movements of Major General Banks, Occupation of Woodstock, Virginia--Fight at Stony Creek". Another map on page 4 is titled: "Capture of the Skidaway Batteries, Closing Up the Water Courses to Savannah". Yet another map on page 10 titled: "THE CAPTURE OF UNION CITY".
