The second page has an interesting report about an individual who received a dangerous cut to his leg, used a variety of common methods to stop the effusion of blood but without success. After he bled for 20 hours, he washed the wound with a decoction made of the bark of bass wood, and spread it on the wound and the bleeding stopped in three minutes.
