THE MORNING POST & DAILY ADVERTISER, London, Jan. 5, 1792 Pg. 3 has an item near the bottom beginning: "The convicts on board the Pitt, Manning, for Botany Bay, were attacked with the small pox & which went thru the soldiers...only 8 convicts & two children being lost...convicts were in general remarkably well behaved...the Pitt expected to arrive at Port Jackson about Christmas." & more (see photo). Complete in 4 pgs., partial red tax stamp, great condition.
