NEW-HAMPSHIRE PATRIOT AND STATE GAZETTE, Concord, Nov. 28, 1831 Pg. 3 report: "Seneca Indians--Between two and three hundred Seneca Indians arrived in Cincinnati on the 10th inst., under charge of Col. McElvaine, on their way to lands beyond the Mississippi, provide for them by the government. Their lands relinquished, consist of about 40,000 acres, of excellent quality." A few traces of lite foxing.
