HARPER'S WEEKLY, New York, November 21, 1868 The front page features a half-page illustration "Petroleum V. Nasby, Ex-Postmaster" with an accompanying article. "Murder of the Rev. B. F. Randolph" (Black American Methodist Minister) article also features a 1/4 page illustration of him as well. A half-page illustration of the "Laying the Corner-Stone of the New Building of the Young Men's Christian Association, New York". 'Creasing Mustangs In Texas' is a nearly 1/2 page illustration. A full page engraving 'Harlem Lane, Sunday Afternoon'. Also a full page political cartoon entitled 'Unconditional Surrender Grant'. Nice full page with six 'Sketches in the Adirondack Region'. A halfpage illustration "Earthquake in Peru - Submersion of Arica" and a nearly 1/2 page illustration "The Revolution in Spain - the Royal Palace, Madrid". The backpage features a small Thomas Nast political cartoon "Ulysses the Giant-Killer" which also features Lady Liberty.
Complete in sixteen pages, in good condition, and contains additional prints and related text.
