HARPER'S WEEKLY, New York, November 19, 1859 The full front page shows 3 illustrations of: 'Effect of John Brown's Invasion At The South', one being: 'A Southern Planter Arming His Slaves to Resist Invasion' and the other two showing Blacks as well. A half page illustration is entitled 'Chatham Street, N.Y., on Sunday'. A third-page illustration features the"The Exiled Sovereigns of the Italian Duchies". The doublepage centerfold is "Receiving the Returns at Tammany Hall on Election Night, November 8, 1959" This issue also contains a serialized portion of "A Tale of Two Cities" by Charles Dickens.
