HARPER'S WEEKLY, New York, September 19, 1857 The front page "Travel Notes in Bible Lands" features close to half page illustration 'View of Nazareth' and a smaller illustration entitled 'Shrine of the Annunciation'. "The Candidates for the Governorship of Pennsylvania" features the illustrations of 'Hon. Isaac Hazlehurst', "Hon. David Wilmot', and 'General William F. Packer'.
A nearly full-page article 'Fashionable Hats and Their Trimimings' features several small illustrations. 'Locating a Land-Warrant' features several accompanying illustrations. An article 'Rev. William Adams, D.D.' also features an illustration of him as well. An article: 'A Cruise Among the Malay Pirates' includes four illustrations, including a naval: 'Fight' & 'Firing the Village & Jungle'. Several back page cartoons.
Two articles have Brigham Young content: "Affairs in Utah" and "Brigham Young on the March of United States Troops to Utah".
Complete in 16 pages, in good condition as shown and contains additional prints and related text.
