THE CONNECTICUT COURANT, Hartford, July 9, 1787  Page 2 has a quite lengthy: "Translation of a letter from Paris..." which begins: "Versailles is in the greatest confusion--nobody is to be trusted--all the King's Ministers are disgraced...". It includes the: "...Impeachment of M. de Calonne, by the Marquis de la Fayette" signed in type: La Fayette.  Pg. 2 also has a small bit concerning the Shays' Rebellion. 
Page 3 has a small item signed in type: S. Adams, President. From "Philadelphia, which has a nice--and very uncommon--report from the Constitutional Convention, beginning: "The present Federal Convention...is happily composed of men who are qualified from education, experience & profession for the great business assigned to them...Under such circumstances, it will not be difficult for them to frame a federal Constitution that will suit our country..." Also a report on the: "Anniversary of Independence".
The front page has a great engraving of a Windsor chair. Four pages, wide, untrimmed margins, very nice condition.
