News that Andrew Jackson was victorious at New Orleans...

CONNECTICUT SPECTATOR, Middletown, Feb. 1, 1815  Inside has: "Capture Of The President", the frigate commanded by Commodore Stephen Decatur, taken by a squadron of British ships. This is followed by 3 more accounts concerning this American loss.
Page 3 has: "IMPORTANT...GLORIOUS NEWS!" beginning: "I just heard a great huzza from Mr. Russin's. On enquiry, it appears a gentleman has just passed through Granville from Georgia who states, that General, Jackson has had an engagement with the British at New Orleans, and defeated them. Killed and taken 4,000, with the loss of 900 men on our side."
Four pages, very nice condition.
