Man walks on the moon: two great front pages...
Item # 714040
July 21, 1969
THE PLAIN DEALER, Cleveland, Ohio, July 21, 1969 (two front pages) This issue actually has two, nice front pages, the first with the front page almost entirely taken up with "Astronauts Walk Moon" in red ink, and a huge photo captioned: "Neil Armstrong and Edwin Aldrin on moon.". This would appear to be the "souvenir" front page.
Inside, which would typically be page 3, is the more "typical" from page that is noted as "second front page" at the top. It also has: "Astronauts Walk Moon" but in black ink, and with photos of Armstrong and Aldrin plus an: "Artist's conception off Moon Landing.
Present are seemingly the first two sections with 26 pages, while 72 are noted on the front page. Minimal margin wear, no central fold wear, some archival strengthening at the blank spine.
A great issue with not one, but two displayable front pages.
