Much concerning the Louisiana Purchase...
WINDSOR FEDERAL GAZETTE, Vermont, Aug. 2, 1803 Page 2 has: "By the President of the United States of America, A PROCLAMATION" calling for Congress to convene to deal with the hoped for Louisiana Purchase, signed in type: Th. Jefferson. This is followed by a report concerning it headed: "Louisiana--Official". And Page 3 has an article headed: "Of Louisiana".
Four pages, never bound nor trimmed, very nice condition.
A quite scarce title as it existed from just 1801 thru 1804. Aside from a recent purchase we have not had any issues of this title to offer in our 50+ years.
