Lengthy on the Louisiana Purchase...
WINDSOR FEDERAL GAZETTE, Vermont, July 19, 1803 Half of page 2 and a bit of page 3 are taken up with: "Purchase Of Louisiana" which provides considerable detail on the efforts to secure the purchase. It begins: "At length the business of New Orleans has terminated favourably to the country...". Most of the report can be seen in the photos.
Four pages, never bound nor trimmed, very nice condition.
A quite scarce title as it existed from just 1801 thru 1804. Aside from a recent purchase we have not had any issues of this title to offer in our 50+ years.
Item from our new catalog - #372, released for November, 2026
