THE ESSEX GAZETTE, Salem, Massachusetts, May 14, 1771  A very nice and handsome issue from the colonial era, several years before the tension between the American colonies and England would result in the Revolutionary War.
Typical news reports of the day both from England and the colonies.
Four pages, archivally rejoined at the spine, never-trimmed margins, printed on relatively thick-stock newsprint, very nice condition.
