Also on page 5 are: "The War in Tennessee" "The Rebels Defeated at Bradyville" and "And Important Report" "The Rebels Said to be Evacuating Vicksburgh" "Report of a Great Battle at Vicksburgh".
Front page column heads include: "Important from New-Orleans" "Another Batch of Prisoners Sent Within the Rebel Lines" "The Harriet Lane Still in Galveston" "The Rebels Converting Her into an Iron-Clad" and more.
Also on the front page under the reports from Washington are: "Designs for Currency Notes" which is due to the recent passing of the National Currency Act; "A Branch Mint in Nevada" "The New Banking Law" and The Territory of Idahoe" on: "...establishing of a temporary Government in Montano...changes the name to Idahoe. Slavery would forever be prohibited within the limits of the new Territory."
