THE LONDON GAZETTE, England, Oct. 22 1685 The back page has a report from London noting: "This day Henry Cornish was brought to his trial at the Old Bailey being indicted of High Treason for conspiring with other false traitors to raise a rebellion within this kingdom & the late King of ever blessed memory...of which he was upon a full evidence found guilty, and received sentence of death as in cases of High Treason..." with even more.
This was for his involvement in the Rye House Plot.
