May 8 has a four line banner headline: "THE WAR IN EUROPE IS ENDED ! SURRENDER IS UNCONDITIONAL; V-E WILL BE PROCLAIMED TODAY; OUR TROOPS ON OKINAWA GAIN" with many subheads and a related photo showing a huge, celebratory crowd in Times Square.
Complete with all 34 pages, various wear at the margins, mostly the right margin, minimal wear at the central fold.
Aug. 15: "JAPAN SURRENDERS, END OF WAR ! EMPEROR ACCEPTS ALLIED RULE; M'ARTHUR SUPREME COMMANDER; OUR MANPOWER CURBS VOIDED" with many related subheads and photo. More on the following pages.
