* World War II ending - surrender nears
The banner headline announces the first use of the atomic bomb with: "Hiroshima Blasted Off Map, Experts Say" with related subheads including; "Explosion Buffets Superfortress 10 Miles From Doomed Jap City". Includes as well is a photo captioned: "Atomic Bomb City In Tennessee" showing Oak Ridge, Tennessee.
A 12 page issue however pages 5-8 are lacking. Minimal margin wear, good condition.
