January 30, 1914
EVENING TRIBUNE, San Diego, Jan. 30, 1914
* SS Monroe steamship wreck & sinking
* Virginia Capes disaster - SS Nantucket
The front page has a banner headline: "FORTY-EIGHT DROWN WHEN LINER MONROE SINKS" with subheads. (see) Nice for display. Surprisingly this issue is in good condition being from the "wood pulp" era. Very hard to find issues that are not totally fragile from this era in paper.
Complete with 18 pages, small library stamps within the masthead, generally very nice.
